This trip will offer you the chance to experience this great variety of landscapes, wines, and all of the incredible gastronomy that comes with traveling in Portugal.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Porto and transfer to the Hotel

Arrival in Porto and transfer to the Hotel: As you land at Porto International Airport, our attentive driver awaits to whisk you away to your hotel. Porto, the second-largest Portuguese city, welcomes you with breathtaking views of the Douro River and the renowned kindness of its locals.

Day 2 - Day to explore Porto. Visit a Port Wine Lodge and try the famous Port Wine

Get ready for a special day dedicated to uncover the treasures of Porto. From the enchanting Ribeira to the vibrant Santa Catarina, explore historical gems like St. Francis Church and the Stock Exchange Palace. Fuel your adventure with a taste of the iconic "Francesinha" for lunch and cap the day with a visit to a Port wine cellar.

Day 3 - Rental car collection and drive to Minho and explore the region

Today, seize the wheel as you collect your rental car and embark on a journey to the Minho region, birthplace of the famed Vinho Verde. Marvel at the green landscapes as you sip on this fresh, slightly sparkling wine gaining global acclaim. Visit Guimarães for a glimpse into Portugal's military history and the birthplace of its first King. Wander through medieval streets, transporting yourself to a bygone era.

Day 4 - Depart towards the Douro Valley region

Bid farewell to your current abode and drive towards the UNESCO World Heritage Douro Valley. A landscape sculpted by human hands into terraced vineyards, producing the world-renowned Port wine. Immerse yourself in the Douro, and don't miss the obligatory visit to a cellar, letting the landscape tell its own captivating story.

Day 5 - Delve into the Douro Valley and visit a local winery

Another day in the awe-inspiring Douro Valley, surrounded by terraced vineyards that have inspired generations. Explore cultural sites like Lamego, or opt for a visit to a table-wine-focused producer. In the afternoon, indulge in a Port wine tasting at a local winery in Pinhão.

Day 6 - Departure South towards the Alentejo Region, visiting Estremoz

Embark on your longest drive to Alentejo, Portugal's second most famous wine region. Encounter a diverse landscape with a rich tradition of wine production. Make a pitstop in the fortified village of Estremoz, a haven for wine enthusiasts. By evening, reach Évora, a city steeped in history, housing Roman Temple Ruins and a chapel adorned with human bones.

Day 7 - Discover the City of Évora and visit a local winery

Check out and drive to Lisboa, stopping at the Palmela wine sub-region en route. Known for its balanced red wines, explore the region before reaching the capital. Lisboa, with its historic charm and stunning locations, invites you to explore Alfama, the Castle of Saint George, and the vibrant Bairro Alto. Cap off the evening with a soulful Fado Night.

Day 9 - Day to discover Sintra and the Colares sub-wine region

Uncover the magic of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with captivating historic buildings. Visit Quinta da Regaleira or Monserrate Palace, and delve into the Colares wine sub-region, known for its unique grape variety and sandy soils. Enjoy a special visit and wine tasting at a local winery.

Day 10 - Departure to Lisboa’s Airport
